The guy thing.

Remember Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hain[I LOVE THAT MOVIE BTW! Pyaar Dosti hain :P Haha! Anyway more on that movie later], the basketball playing, ill fitted clothes wearing and a tomboy to be precise?
I never really understood the concept of carrying myself. I always felt high about myself, being the happy go lucky, no make up and anti-shopping freak that I am.
18 years of my life I spent burping out aloud, stretching arms in public, wearing shirts 2 sizes larger, walking with feet apart and get the rush while bullying guys around!
A couple of nights ago while I was talking to a guy, he told me something that probably is the worst statement I ever heard about myself.
"You are like a guy Akshara, I don't think any guy who has spoken to you for a couple of times would look at you like a girl anymore." or something like that
I got PISSED first.
Then, sad.
Today-I get laughed at by my sister and Mom because they know I end up wasting money on clothes that are overpriced cause I never actually went shopping before, I am treated more or less like an anti-social in college cause they think am scary and weird! I don't get hit on, all the guys I talk to, end up being amazing friends or guys I have nothing in common with! [Did I mention I get along better with the male species?]WHAT! Don't look at me like that! I want get hit on too, just for the heck of it, to boost my ego! I hardly recollect the last time a guy called me "sexy"! Thankfully, all these amazing guy friends I have, I never had a thing for them. So YES! THANK GOD! A heart break saved or else I would probably really end up like Anjali.

Anyway, my point is, I am going to learn.
To act more feminine.
Which is a part of me and a damn important part.
:)
Another 4 years, I too, will be like Anjali, the brand new hot, sexy, girlie and still fun-to-be-around one :P
YAY TO GIRLS!
:D

-Akshara!

  1. I have been reading ur blog for sometime now...

Can relate to this post (except for the over sized tee's)..

Rather than trying to become feminine, what's imp is that u be yourself..

    Cheers...
